Now into it's seventh year, Web Intrigue (previously trading as BeWebSmart UK Design Solutions) is a North Wales based website design business. Founded in 2005, we are a family run business with plans to expand in the coming months ahead as business continues to grow rapidly. We have customers locally from Wales, but also in London, Essex, Oxfordshire & Cheshire.

About the Founder of Web Intrigue

The founder of Web Intrigue, Colin Baxter, gained seven years post-university electronics and computing industrial experience from: Interlink Communications Ltd, Clacton on Sea (1996) as a Software and Hardware Development Engineer; Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Limited, Birmingham, UK (1996 - 1999) as a CAD Support Engineer and; Philips Semiconductors Limited, Southampton, UK (1999 - 2003) as a Senior CAD Flow Specialist & Engineer.

More About the Founder

Colin's industrial work experience included web (Intranet) design work, and use of computing and scripting languages to solve complex engineering tasks.
The work at Philips Semiconductors involved the software integration of sophisticated electronic computer aided design (CAD) tools, from the likes of Cadence and Synopsys, to produce workable 'design flows' for hardware engineers who design from the initial hardware description language code (VHDL and Verilog) right up to silicon sign-off.
Colin gained a BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Systems Electronics from Anglia Polytechnic University in 1990, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick in 1995.
